Palin Reverse

A special pre-Monday comic inspired by this week’s Illustration Friday subject REVERSE.

This is my take on the direction I some times feel that people like Sarah Palin want to take this country in.  Rather than trying to build upon what the current or even past administrations have created they would rather tear it down, criticize it and call for a “new” agenda or a vision of the “good ‘ol days.”  This type of thing is popular in business as well.  But whomever is playing this card it is usually 100% vested in their own self-interest; getting elected or being a CEO, etc.

I could go on and on, but I run the risk of becoming preaching and way too serious when the idea of this webcomic is to find the humor, irony, satire in all this behavior, which is a much healthier than getting angry about it all the time.

The idea of this comic came to me a few days ago and I worked it out completely in the computer in Manga Studio except for the color which I did in PS due to some layer issues.  I was originally going to have Sarah saying something but after I finished I thought it worked fine with no text/dialogue. But if anyone comes up with some good dialogue for Sarah please let me know.
