The sad truth about the death of traditional printed newspapers is real although I joke about it here. I think some print will stick around for a long time but the speed at which most are going away now is staggering. The flood gates have opened. This is a tough transition for so many including cartoonist but I know at one point this will shake out and payment for quality cartoon work and journalism will emerge.

He should have stuck with slippers! Staggering is a good way to put it, it’s like the print world hit an iceberg and the ship is trying to right itself. We’re entering uncharted territory in the long and venerable history of publishing, that’s for sure!
