I know it has been forever since I posted a comic. I drew this one after taking our dog on a holiday vacation. Drawn with Micron pen on paper. Colored in PS.

See! Even dogs don’t like school. Here is a cartoon I thought up while walking our dog with my family and passing a dog obedience class in the park. The thought struck me; I wonder if dogs in a class like that get jealous of dogs that walk by foot lose and fancy free (minus the leash).
I worked on this waaaayyyy too long and realized I enjoy working on sequential comics with lots of energy much more than stagnate signal panel toons although coming up with single panel toons is a lot of fun. But executing them not so much. To each his own. I still want to do more single panel toons but maybe try and work them out better before I start them on the computer.
This was drawn in Manga Studio like all my others.Hope you like it.
Please “like” it and leave a comment if you can. have a great week. Thanks,Frank
My second comic post although this was actually the first comic I made after deciding to write and draw the comics in this style (originally I drew a traditional 4 panel strip comic that I later abandoned). Over the weekend I revised all the text and re-drew the last panel. Before it was to aburpt. Hopefully now it flows better and has a more rhythmic feel that makes the joke read better. That is the hope anyway.
This comic was loosely based on the little dog that my family rescued a few months ago. There have been times when all of us have been so taken with the dog that we have probably driven her a little crazy. I tried to capture the crazy energy of the owner countered to the calm and frightened nature of the dog. It was a lot of fun to draw. It was drawn and shaded in Manga Studio EX like all my comics. I hope you enjoyed it.
