I am trying to post more single panel cartoons more often and may even begin posting multi-paneled cartoons as well if things go as planned.

Sorry for not posting.  I have been knee deep in animation stuff.  Here is a little animation I did for Halloween.

This cartoon was done entirely on the iPad using Sketchbook Pro.

Hopefully my colored background does not interfere with the cartoon and joke.

My single panel output has slowed a bit due to some animation I am working on which I hope to show off soon.

I’m trying to throw in some abstract backgrounds that get the idea across but don’t have a lot of detail and take too much time to complete.  I think I’m getting better at it.

This one was based on the word “Identical,” which was the word of the week on Illustration Friday.

I like the absurd idea that someone would actually have an indentical twin created medically.  It would be fun to develop a character that would go to such an extreme.

I usually steer clear of politics in my cartoons, but I came up with this idea and liked enough to do it. The original caption was different and I thought of letting the readers suggest their own captions, but then I thought no, I need to caption this and not chicken out.

Although I will be voting for Obama, I do not see huge difference between these two guys. Yes, there is a huge difference between the people voting for them but between the two gentlemen themselves, in policy, not much difference. Romney is playing the conservative to win the election but he’s pretty moderate compared to the folks who were trying to win the GOP nomination. It’s fascinating to watch someone try so hard to be liked just to be elected. That is one thing that Obama does not seem to do . I’m sure he does from time to time, but it but it never shows.

I went over the caricatures again and again, and they are still not perfect, but overall I think the art work came out good and joke reads the way I intended it to. That is success to me.
